Finding homes for buyers is always rewarding, but my most rewarding sale was for a single woman on a budget. We looked steadily for many months for a condo that she could afford for herself and two dogs. We lost out on many homes to buyers with deep pockets. Many months went by and we were outbid over and over. She finally told me we would have to quit looking as she needed to have hip surgery. Nearly a year went by with no contact and I was afraid the rising prices may have priced her out of the market and she would rent forever. Last November, I saw a condo for sale that made me think of her and sent it to her. She viewed it, and it inspired her to get prequaled again. We went looking and found a place (with no stairs) and were able to get her under contract! The lender, which gave her a great rate, was very challenging to work with and the deal nearly collapsed three times right towards the end. But we closed in December 2018. I visited her recently and she is so happy, which makes me incredibly glad that I persevered to find her a home.
