There was a college football coach who walked in to my office one day and said he had driven around and found a home and wanted to buy it. I asked him when he wanted to go look at it and he told me he didn't need to see the inside. Taken aback a bit I began telling him he might want to look at it, how important it would be to him because he would be living there etc... just to make sure it would be a good fit for him. He looked at me and said, "Do you want to sell it to me or not?", I have to buy something today and don't want to look around any more. Needless to say, we wrote up the offer and he moved in.
That's a humorous little story. Really every transaction I've been involved with in my 25+ years of real estate has had it's ups and downs as they all do. Any agent that has been in this business can attest to that. I have always tried to be as informed as I can be by listening to the answers my clients give me and to inform them of what to expect from me and the ends and outs of being involved in a transaction whether buying or selling a home. Communication is key.
