My first transaction involved a couple who were 1st time homebuyers. They were anxious, nervous, almost afraid of purchasing a new home. I remember how I felt buying my first home in 2015. How overwhelming of a feeling coming into a world where not much makes sense, waiting what seems like forever to get to the next step. Being one of the greatest most important purchases of most people's lives, I was to make sure I eased those feelings for my clients. Mind you, I was still learning how the ins and outs of real estate; but I was not new to human interaction. I staying in touch as often as I could to explain every step to them, I was constantly checking in to answer any questions that may have arisen. I wanted them to be as comfortable as possible. I also made sure to stay in contact with the Listing Agent of the home we were in contract with and build a rapport with them that we could make this transaction go as smooth as possible. In the end, I saved my client $24,000 on their first home with a lakefront view. And I also made 2 new friends!
