I helped out a mother & daughter who had the difficult task of finding a home with separate detached living quarters in their price range so the mother could feel like she still was managing on her own. She had some health issues but was very spry & witty! After one sale fell through due to inspection issues & a very unreasonable seller, they had to return to their temp out of state location. I virtually toured dozens of homes, went under contract on one, dealt with inspections & contractors, but again due to major unforeseen inspection issues, they backed out. Then they found out their landlord was not renewing their lease so they had no where to go. I allowed them to stay at one of my vacation rental properties & we resumed the search when they moved. Tensions between the two were rising a bit & the daughter was ready to throw in the towel. I had their criteria on an auto search & when a home hit the market I thought was perfect I sent them a midnight email that I think I found "THE" one! I met the mother there the next morning, but the daughter was heading out of town but we encouraged her to stop by on her way out as I knew this one would sell fast. Well, the rest is history. We also became fast friends. They had 3 beautiful very happy years there until sadly the mother passed recently. Now, I'm helping the daughter work through what's next. I love my customers!
