Assisted a seller who was very sick. We helped him with everything needed to get his home ready for sale. The home needed some exterior work completed and we handled all of it, as far as contracting the work and appointments for the work to be completed. Collected checks from him and delivered to the contractors. He had no way of signing documents on any contracts, so Lane would go to his extended stay residency, and bring him all sorts of things. Dairy Queen dilly bars, pizza, hamburgers and fries. Every time we needed a signature Lane would bring him a treat. He didn't have any way of driving himself around so Lane would ask him what he craved and he would bring it the next time. Lane also drove him around so that he could do his banking, he told Lane "We are going to have fun today, road trip". We scheduled the signing of closing at his residence as well. We were able to service our client in the most personalized way and meet the goals that he desired while making his life a little easier. We are so very grateful for this experience, as it brought him some enjoyment knowing he would have visitors on a regular basis. We are so blessed to have been a part of this transaction.
