I received a call from an elderly gentleman that said he had found the home he "always wanted" and wanted to put an offer on it but needed to sell his home in order to buy it. I agreed to work with him and we agreed on a game plan to make this happen. I then scheduled a showing of the home that he was hoping to buy which he had never even seen inside. No sense in putting all this in motion if he saw it inside and didn't like it - right? Well, he loved it and had to have it! He had black lung disease and told me this home was his dream home and asked that I quickly sell his house so he could do this. I went to see his home and realized we had some work to do to get the home in shape for a showing, so we scheduled the cleaning and sprucing that it required and then listed the home. In the meantime, we put an offer on his "dream home" contingent on the sale of his home and the offer was accepted! Shortly after, we received a good offer on his home. The happy day arrived that he was able to move in to his "dream home"! Within a six month period I received the news that he had passed away. I felt very honored to have been a part of his goal of purchasing and living in his dream home.
